Hinse Mutter (b. 1986)
Hinse Mutter was born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He studied classical double bass in Rotterdam and has been living and working in Amsterdam for several years. He has written many songs, chamber music and orchestral pieces, and has had his music performed widely in and outside the Netherlands. Besides playing double bass in many Dutch and international orchestras, he also plays in contemporary chamber music groups and modern music improvisation ensembles. His arrangements of Mahler and Bach have met with great acclaim. He is also active as artistic director of Eendagsliederen (One Day Songs) and works as a freelance producer with several major Dutch orchestras and choirs. As a session musician, Hinse has recorded several international number one pop hits.
