Effective 30 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ALRY Publications, LLC (“ALRY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit or make a purchase through the United Music and Media Publishers (UMMP) online store at ummpstore.com (the “Site”), which ALRY operates together with its publishing partners Metropolis Music Publishers and Digital Music Print. It also explains how we handle the personal information of composers, arrangers, and other artists we work with directly under publishing agreements.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

1. Who We Are

ALRY Publications, LLC is a Texas limited liability company. Our mailing address and how to reach us are in Section 13 below.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us

Account information — name, email address, password, and billing/shipping addresses, if you create an account.

Order information — name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and the products you purchase, whether you check out as a guest or as a registered customer.

Payment information — collected and processed directly by our payment providers (which include Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and major card networks). We do not store your full card number or payment credentials on our own servers.

Contact form submissions — name, email address, and the content of your message when you contact us through the Site.

Composer and artist information — contact details, composition details, tax information, and banking details, when you enter into a publishing agreement with us or submit music for consideration. See Section 9.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Device and usage information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar diagnostic data.

Cookies and analytics — collected via cookies and similar technologies used by the Site and our service providers. See Section 4.

Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and tax obligations

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

4.1 Cookies generally

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies — including those provided by Shopify, our e-commerce platform, and by the analytics and advertising services described below — to operate shopping cart and checkout functionality, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality such as your shopping cart.

4.2 Currency conversion

When you visit the Site, we use your IP address to estimate your location so that prices can be displayed in your local currency, purely for your convenience so you do not have to convert prices yourself. This preference is stored in a temporary session cookie, which is automatically deleted when you close your browser. All orders are still processed in US dollars, using the conversion rate applicable on the day of purchase.

4.3 Analytics and advertising partners

We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the Site. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking and the Facebook/Meta Ads pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant ads about our products on Google, Facebook, and Instagram (remarketing and interest-based advertising). These services collect cookies and usage data — such as your IP address, browser and device information, and the pages you view — and share it with Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. respectively, each acting under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google's use of cookies for advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and manage Facebook/Meta's ad preferences through your Facebook account settings.

4.4 Facebook Comments

If you comment on Site content using the Facebook Comments plugin, your comment and associated Facebook profile information is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. under Facebook's own privacy policy, in addition to being displayed on our Site.

4.5 Our Facebook page

We also maintain a Facebook page, which is our primary channel for announcing new releases and updates. Any interaction with that page is governed by Facebook's own privacy practices, not this Policy.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

Service providers — Shopify (platform hosting and checkout), our payment processors, our contact form provider, and Jotform (composer and artist onboarding forms) — each acting on our instructions.

Analytics and advertising partners — Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram Ads pixel and Facebook Comments), as described in Section 4.

Fulfilment partners — our fulfilment partner near Antwerp, Belgium, which ships printed orders to customers in Europe and Asia.

Publishing partners — Metropolis Music Publishers and Digital Music Print, who share the UMMP storefront with us, where an order involves their catalogue.

Professional advisers and authorities — accountants, tax authorities, and legal advisers, where necessary for royalty payments, tax reporting, or to comply with the law.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes beyond the analytics and advertising partners named above.

6. International Transfers

We ship worldwide. If you are located in the UK, the EU, or elsewhere outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and, for order fulfilment, Belgium. Where required by law, we take steps intended to ensure such transfers have appropriate safeguards in place.

7. Data Retention

We keep order and account information for as long as needed to fulfil orders, meet our accounting and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We keep composer and artist records for the duration of the publishing relationship and for as long afterwards as tax law requires. You may ask us to delete your account information at any time, subject to records we are required to keep by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing — for example, under the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation or applicable US state privacy laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Composers and Artists

If you enter into a publishing agreement with ALRY, we collect contact details, composition details, tax information, and banking details through our Artist Agreement Form, hosted by Jotform, in order to administer the agreement, pay royalties, and meet our tax reporting obligations. We are moving royalty payments from mailed cheques to direct deposit starting in 2027, which requires us to hold banking details for that purpose. We do not use this information for marketing, and we only share it with the service providers and advisers described in Section 5.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including Shopify's platform security and PCI-compliant payment processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We will post material changes on this page.
