Kathleen Melago (b. 1974)

Kathleen A. Melago serves as Assistant Professor of Music at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Kathy earned her DMA in Flute Performance from The Ohio State University, a MM in Flute Performance from the University of Northern Iowa, and a BS in Music Education from Slippery Rock University. She has taught music in Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Ohio, both in schools and privately. Her principal flute teachers include Katherine Borst Jones, Angeleita Floyd, Stacey Steele, and Vanessa Candreva.
