Anne McGinty

Anne McGinty, distinguished for her many compositions and arrangements for concert band, elementary through college level, as well as publications for solo flute, flute and piano, and flute ensemble, has established herself as writer of skillfully constructed and colorfully orchestrated music. She received her Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude, and Master of Music from Duquesne University, where she concentrated on flute performance and composition. She is a member of ASCAP and a life member of the National Flute Association (NFA), and served two years on the NFA Board of Directors. Formerly a professional flutist and teacher, Anne is presently co-owner of Queenwood Publications, which specializes in music for concert band.
