Job Clement (b. 2001)

Job Clement is a composer and pianist active in Belgium and the Netherlands. Born in 2001 in Dordrecht, he began playing the piano at a young age. Early on, he was captivated by the possibility of creating his own melodies, leading him to write his first compositions.

Over the years, Job gradually developed a unique artistic voice. His early mentorship with Hans Helsen introduced him to the vast possibilities of non-tonal harmony, while later studies with Annelies van Parys incited his exploration of timbre and texture as independent musical parameters.

Job holds a master’s degree in piano, which he earned under the guidance of Jan Michiels at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in composition with Annelies van Parys.

His rapidly expanding oeuvre spans a wide variety of instruments and ensembles, reflecting his curiosity and commitment to pushing personal boundaries.
