Arthur Pryor's best-known composition, "The Whistler and His Dog," exists in a variety of forms. He created arrangements of it for theatre orchestra, solo piano, as well as concert band. This arrangement for clarinet choir is largely based off of the concert band version, and can be used to feature an E-flat Clarinet soloist. Feel free to have some fun with the dog-barks at the end! Upon request, we would be happy to furnish you with a part for A-flat Clarinet, should you choose to feature that instrument!
