deLise - Through the Mist of Morning for Piano Solo - PN7681EM
The American composer, Louis Anthony deLise, was born in Philadelphia and raised in rural Bucks County, Pennsylvania. There, he attended public schools and began his music study. Composer deLise considers his music to be “post genre,” as it often features the juxtaposition of disparate musical elements including serial technique, frequently changing meters, the urgency and drive of rock and roll, and the lush harmonies of 1960’s Cool Jazz.
Music by Louis Anthony deLise has been performed by The Budapest Scoring Orchestra, The Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia (now the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra), The Philly Pops, The Belvedere Chamber Music Festival, The Tacoma Symphony, and The Marine Chamber Orchestra, among many others.
