Stratmann, Kazuko

Kazuko Stratmann (b. 1963)

Born in Osaka, Japan, Kazuko Stratmann is a graduate of the Osaka College of Music and studied at the TOHO GAKUEN School of Music diploma course. Since 1990, she has been living in the United States and has composed many Japanese influenced pieces. She has composed music for documentary films and has also arranged many chamber music works. Kazuko has released a CD of her own compositions and arrangements titled ”Flute Collage,” pieces which include elements of Classical, Japanese, and Latin music.
