Invicta is a dramatic contest overture. The strong lyrical middle section provides just the right contrast for teaching different musical styles. For that next concert “Invicta” is sure to be a powerful and dramatic performance that your audience won’t soon forget.

Here it has been transcribed by Japanese composer Akira Toda for traditional British-style brass band. In addition to the parts typically found in these ensembles, transposed parts are provided for suitable performance by instruments of a standard symphonic band.
