Missouri Adventure by Gay Kahkonen for Flute Quartet. Missouri Adventure was commissioned by Dr. Elizabeth Robinson to mark the bicentennial of the statehood of Missouri. The piece celebrates the striking natural features of the landscape from mountains to flowing rivers. In three movements: Forest and Sky, The River is Wide, and Missouri Adventure.
