The Sussex Mummers' Christmas Carol is another lovely setting by Percy Grainger skillfully arranged to take advantage of the homogeneity and warmth of the low flute sounds. It doesn't necessarily have to be played at Christmas time (it's a pretty piece all year round). Additionally, it is in the same key as the version for clarinet choir arranged by Matt Johnston, thus they can be played together, or parts mixed and matched as you like!
