This arrangement is massive, the full, unabridged Polovtsian Dances from 'Prince Igor' by Alexander Borodin, arranged for clarinet choir by Matt Johnstons This work is a vibrant and energetic orchestral suite featuring a blend of exotic melodies inspired by Central Asian and Russian folk music. There are no A Clarinets needed, s care has been taken to tastefully adapt and transpose it such that all the familiar clarinet excerpts lay exactly the same under the fingers as in the orchestra version. Timpani and Harp parts which accommodate these transpositions are also included.
