Christiane and Katharina Martini

Christiane and Katharina Martini are musicians, authors and pedagogues. Concert tours regularly take them throughout Europe and the United States. They have performed as soloists and chamber musicians in famous concert halls, e.g. Carnegie Hall New York, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Elbphilharmonie, Alte Oper Frankfurt and Berliner Philharmonie. Christiane and Katharina Martini frequently conduct masterclasses at universities, academies and festivals in Europe, Asia and the United States. In addition, they are regular guests at renowned music festivals, such as the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. Both together and individually, they have published a large number of works and teaching materials with well-known publishers such as Moeck, Mieroprint, Zimmermann / Schott and Bosworth. Christiane and Katharina Martini have made numerous recordings in addition to working for various radio and television companies. Studies in Germany and other European countries have led them both to numerous first prizes and scholarships from international music competitions and foundations, as well as participation in numerous masterclasses.
