O Mimi, tu piu non torni from La Boheme for Two Flutes and Piano by Giacomo Puccini, arranged for Two Flutes and Piano by Trudy Kane. The piece "O Mimì, tu più non torni" is a duet for the characters Marcello and Rodolfo from Act IV of Giacomo Puccini’s opera La Bohème, which premiered in 1896. This poignant moment occurs just before the tragic conclusion of the opera. In Act IV, both Marcello and Rodolfo reflect on the heartbreak and loss they feel after parting ways with their respective lovers, Musetta and Mimì. The scene is one of bittersweet nostalgia, as the two friends reminisce about happier times and express their lingering emotions of love and regret.
