Calliope Capers is a movement from Ladd McIntosh's Suite for Flute Ensemble originally composed for Katherine Borst Jones and the Ohio State University Flute Troupe. It is a very light-hearted work that evokes the playful sound of the calliope. Part of the KBJ Collection Flute Troupe Series.
Instrumentation:
- Piccolo
- 4 C Flutes
- 2 Alto Flutes (or C Flutes)
- Bass Flute
While the instrumentation with alto flutes is preferred, alternate C Flute parts are included.
