During his lifetime, Michael Blavet taught himself to play every instrument and was known as the best flute player in all of France. Something out of the ordinary was that he held his flute out to the left! Among his achievements was playing as the principal flutist in Louis XV's "Musique du Roi", as well as for the Paris Opera. Here, his Concerto in A Minor, arranged here for solo piccolo and flute orchestra by Shaul Ben-Meir.
