Concerto for Clarinet "Corona", reduction for Clarinet and Piano, by Daniel Bukin. Recognized as the Honorable Mention composition by the New Music Committee of the International Clarinet Association as part of the 2022 Composition Competition .From the composer: "2020 was a year of colossal uncertainty and instability in nearly every facet of our day-to-day lives. But that uncertainty hit performing artists the hardest because it effectively shut down our professional lives entirely. As the year went on, I quickly found that I had to cope in a creative way with all the strange and powerful emotions that each new uncertainty brought. And this piece, Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, was the result of such mental self-care." In five movements: Everything Changes, Isolation, Outrage at 45, In Memoriam, and The Endless Anxiety.
