Sunlight by Gay Kahkonen for Flute Quartet. From the composer: "Sunlight was written for the students of the late Dr. Stacey Steele, beloved Professor of Flute at Slippery Rock University. It is the composer's hope that the music will evoke fond memories of Dr. Steele's beautiful spirit and boundless energy. The piece ends with a quote from Dona Nobis Pacem, a favorite flute choir round that Dr. Steele often used to close special musical events."
