"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is a familiar tune to almost everyone.  After all, the song has been around since at least the 18^th century according to some sources.  Even young children know the drill:  a partridge in a pear tree, two turtle doves, three French hens, four calling birds, five golden rings, six geese a laying, seven swans a swimming, eight maids a milking, nine ladies dancing, ten lords a leaping, eleven pipers piping, twelve drummers drumming. However, The Twelve Jazzy Days of Christmas by Sonny Burnette takes this beloved song and puts an entirely new spin on it!
