The Moonbright Sea by Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda, was commissioned by Nancy Mulholland for the Flute Society of Washington Junior Flute Choir and was premiered at the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention in Reston, Virginia. Composed in two sections, the opening is pastoral and flowing, leading to a joyous and lilting section in 6/8 time.
