From the composer: "Flute Fantasy was my first notated piece, written as the final project for a composition class I took with Dr. Larry Nelson at West Chester University while majoring in flute performance. The goal was to explore contemporary flute techniques such as pitch bends, multiphonics, timbre trills, harmonics, varying vibrato, and flutter tonguing."
