Sarah Bassingthwaighte - Early Reflections for Two Flutes. From the composer: "Early Reflections was composed for a student of mine who wanted to play this duet in a swimming pool room, to take advantage of the 6-second reverb. Inspired by Smetana’s Má Vlast, which was also about water, this piece is a flowing, sweet, pretty piece. The reverberations in the pool room (in which this was actually premiered!) created a wash of sound and blended harmonies."
