Variations on a Theme of Haydn, arranged here for Flute Orchestra, was original composed by Johannes Brahms in 1873, based on a piece title "St. Anthony's Chorale." Although it is disputed whether or not this chorale was actually composed by Joseph Haydn, the resulting set of variations have since become quite well-known and popular.
