Swearingen (trans. Toda) - Dawn of a New Day for Brass Ensemble - BRE6
A descriptive, almost ballet-like work that is more contemporary than this composer’s previous works. Dawn of a New Day will prove itself time and again. The graphic depiction of the new day’s events gives this dynamic piece an additional dimension and is highly recommended!
Here it has been transcribed by Japanese composer Akira Toda for traditional British-style brass band. In addition to the parts typically found in these ensembles, transposed parts are provided for suitable performance by instruments of a standard symphonic band.
