This edition is a reprint of the 1905 publication of Franz Poenitz's Capriccio, Op. 73 for Clarinet and Harp. Franz Poenitz, born Franz von Burkowitz in 1850, displayed exceptional musical talent from a young age and from the age of 15, he served as a chamber musician at the Berlin Royal Court Opera for nearly 50 years. Measure numbers have been added and discrepancies between the score and clarinet part have been remedied, in addition to a brief foreward, making this edition much more rehearsal friendly than any other version out there.
