£25.00
Italian composer and clarinetist Ernesto Cavallini's (1807 – 1874) Adagio and Tarantella for clarinet and piano was first published in 1869. Here, it has been arranged for solo clarinet and clarinet choir by Matt Johnston. A dramatic opening leads to a sprightly tarantella, readily featuring the virtuosity of the solo clarinetist.
Instrumentation:
- Solo Clarinet
- 4 Clarinets
- Alto Clarinet (Basset Horn/Clarinet 5)
- Bass Clarinet (Contrabass Clarinet/Contralto Clarinet/String Bass)
