Erin Spencer - Borrowed Earth for Flute Quartet. From the composer: "Written for BETA Quartet's "Anthems of Dialogue" project, Borrowed Earth is a poignant musical journey exploring how our present choices shape the world future generations will inherit. Its title draws from the 
phrase: “We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.” Through nostalgic melodies, evolving harmonies, and a reflective structure, the piece invites listeners to consider their role as stewards of the planet."
