Six British Folk Songs for Cello and Piano by Paul Schoenfeld. Six British Folk Songs was commissioned by Fred and Gloria Sewell for their daughter, Laura, in 1985. It is dedicated to Jacqueline du Pré and consists of six movement: Jack Tar, The Basket of Eggs, The Gypsy Laddie, The Parting Kiss, The Lousy Tailor, and A Dream of Napoleon.
