This Symphony for Flute Choir by Randy Navarre was written for Dr. Thomas Houston, Woodwind Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. The composition was premiered on November 22, 1986, by the Houston Flute Club in Houston, Texas. In has been newly re-engraved in 2020 and now includes the alternate C Flute part to be played in lieu of the E-flat Flute.
