Joseph Haydn - Four London Trios, HOB IV: 1-4, arranged for Flute Trio (or Flute Choir) by Ervin Monroe. Originally composed for two flutes and cello, the London Trios were a gift from Haydn to the Baron of Aston in Preston, outside of London in 1794. The flexible instrumentation in this arrangement gives flutists the opportunity for several performance possibilities:

  • 2 Flutes and Alto Flute (or Bass Flute)
  • 3 C Flutes
  • Flute Choir
