Grigoraș Dinicu - Hora Staccato for Flute Choir, arranged by Ervin Monroe. Grigoraș Dinicu was a composer-violinist whose music centered around ethnic and gypsy themes. From the arranger: "This piece, Hora Staccato, is one of his most popular works and was originally written of course for the violin. Over the years I have arranged a number of solo flute pieces for two flutes. On one occasion when James Galway was visiting us in Detroit, I mentioned that I wanted to arrange a piece for him and his wife Jeanne." Here it is further arranged for flute choir by Ervin Monroe.
