Composed for the New Year's Imperial Poetry Competition in 1929, this music describes a springtime boat trip. It is a standard and well-known work for the Japanese bamboo flute, or shakuhachi, and the koto, a traditional stringed instrument. From the collection of Les Enfants de Pan.
