delle Cese (arr. Czekaj) - L'Inglesina (Clarinet Choir) - CC242
L’Inglesina (The Little English Girl) is a staple of the wind band repertoire and one of the most frequently performed marches in the world. Composed in 1871, the piece loosely follows the Italian Marcia simfonico style, a form which is more flexible than the standard military march. Delle Cese paints an image straight out of an Italian opera, using sudden dynamic shifts, mood changes, and overall expressiveness for dramatic effect.
