Catozzi (arr. Rosati) - Beelzebub (Solo Contra Clarinet and Clarinet C
Andrea Catozzi originally composed Beelzebub as a virtuosic solo piece for Tuba, specifically for the 1886 competition of solo instrumental music held by Carl Fischer Music. It was selected as the winner and since then has become a standard work in the tuba repertoire. Additionally, two parts are provided for the contrabass clarinet, one for a standard range instrument, and one for an extended range instrument.
