Linda Kirkpatrick (b. 1956)

Dr. Linda Kirkpatrick, author of The Pedagogical Techniques and Methods of Flutist William Montgomery (Edwin Mellen Press), is the Director of Instrumental Studies at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD, and musical director/conductor of the Westminster Symphony Orchestra. She is the director/ founder of the McDaniel Summer Music Camp, which recently completed its 33rd season. She was the program chair for the 2011 Flute Society of Washington Flute Fair, and has published flute choir arrangements with flute.net and ALRY Publications. She has been a member of the National Flute Association Professional Flute Choir, and has led flute choir reading sessions at NFA conventions.
