Mark Cabaniss (b. 1960)

Mark Cabaniss is a music publisher, writer/producer, broadcaster, and speaker. He is President/CEO of Jubilate Music Group, a music publisher based in Nashville. Mark’s published compositions have been performed throughout the United States and abroad, and include musicals, cantatas, and instrumental works. He is a multiple recipient of ASCAP’s Popular Music Award and is a Dove award-winning producer. He is a member of The Recording Academy and The Dramatists Guild. Mark is a correspondent for nationally syndicated radio show Hollywood 360. He is the author of two books: Confessions of a Shameless Name-Dropper (Bravo! Publishing) and Music Business Essentials (Rowman & Littlefield). Mark also serves as an adjunct professor of music business at Belmont University in Nashville. His work in the music business has included collaborations with Bob Barker, Kathie Lee Gifford, pop/Broadway songwriter Rupert Holmes, Andy Griffith, Shirley Jones, Charles Strouse (Annie/Bye Bye Birdie) and others.
