Frederik Neyrinck (°1985) received his first piano lessons of Anne Buyck in Wevelgem and Menen. He continued his  study at the « Koninklijk Conservatorium » of Brussels with Jan Van Landeghem (composition) and Piet Kuijken (piano). From October 2008 till July 2009, he studied composition with Marco Stroppa at the “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst” in Stuttgart.

He has worked with ensembles including the “Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart” (during “Acanthes” in Metz, 2009), the “JACK Quartet” (during reading sessions at the “Ferienkurse für Neue Musik” in Darmstadt , 2010), the “Nadar Ensemble” (during the Transit Festival in Leuven, 2010), the “Latvijas Radio Koris” (during the “Tenso Music Days” in Oslo, 2010), the ensemble "I Solisti del Vento", the “Odysseia Ensemble”,  the "Spectra Ensemble", the "Operastudio Ghent", the ensemble “Revue Blanche”, the “Prometheus Ensemble”, the “Emanon Ensemble”, the “Goeyvaerts Strijktrio”, the “Landini Strijkkwartet” and soloists including Jenny Spanoghe (violin) and Andrew Blackburn (organ).

He was also laureate of several competitions, among others the composition competition of the Province “West-Vlaanderen” in 2006, the Composition Competition of the “Emanon Ensemble” in 2007, the prize “Agniez” of the “Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel” in 2009 , the “International Composition Competition – Melbourne” in 2010 and the "AMA - Stephan De Jonghe" composition competition in 2011.

His compositions "Contr'action II" and "Samsa - Impressionen" were selected by ISCM-Flanders (in 2010 and 2011).

He is the resident composer and one of the founding members of the “Odysseia Ensemble”, a new Belgian chamber music ensemble.
Together with Bertel Schollaert, Seraphine Stragier and Tim Vandenbergh, he created “Plan Libre”, a performance with new compositions and improvisations, based on the ideas of the French architect Le Corbusier.

He lives in Wevelgem (Belgium) and teaches in Menen and Roeselare.
