Bryan Guarnuccio (b. 1981)

Bryan Guarnuccio is a flutist, collaborative pianist, chamber music enthusiast and orchestral musician based in Mid-Michigan. Shortly after moving to Michigan to begin his Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in Flute Performance in 2008, Bryan joined the Lansing Symphony as the second flutist. Since then, he has performed as principal, second flute, and piccolo in orchestras throughout the state including the Kalamazoo Symphony, Jackson Symphony, Flint Symphony, Traverse Symphony, and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestras.

During his time at Michigan State University, he was honored to perform in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as a winner of a solo competition sponsored by Manhattan Concert Productions. Also active in a woodwind quintet, he was a finalist in several regional and national chamber music competitions including MTNA, J.C. Arriaga (Tree Tops), and most notably, he was a quarter and semi-finalist in consecutive years of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

Bryan has had a passion for chamber music since junior high school and has subsequently performed, coached, and arranged music for many chamber groups ranging from the standard woodwind quintet to various contemporary combinations of instruments.
